My IPhone won't sync apps! Help!?

I just updated my IPhone 3GS to IoS 5.0. And now I can't sync apps. In the "apps" section under where the phone is on ITunes, the "sync apps" button is all whited out. I can't click on it. I clicked the "sync" button on the bottom and it said "your IPhone can't be synced, you don't have enough access privileges for this operation." But I already authorized my computer! I don't want to download all my apps again. Help?
