connected to a wireless network, help! i have tried to read about it online but it wont work.. can anyone shed some light on it?
 
check the settings for the network if they show ip address starting with 169 or no details at all then touch and router not connected.

forget network. turn touch off, reboot router. turn touch back on. join network. details should now show. and should be allowed to use internet
 
ok, is iTunes open?

try detaching your iPod, then reattaching. Does iTunes show that it is plugged in? If it doesn't, and you already plugged it in a asecond time, check your cord. If it is plugged in, check your connection, or open and close iTunes.

My friend's had the same problem connecting to my wireless with his itouch. I have an iphone and it works perfectly. They should work the same but idk.
