It was in my back pocket last night and when I was in the bathroom it fell in the tolilet. Haha. I got it out within 5 seconds. It was still on when I got it out, and it seemed to be working okay for a bit, and then a little later the buttons started not working and I could see water in the screen. Yet sometimes the buttons worked fine for a few minutes. So after a while of doing some research on the internet, I blow dryed it for a few minutes on low and tried to get in between the slide when some of the water was. Then after looking a little more online, I took the back and front covering off, took the battery out, gently wiped off the drops of water on the places I could, and let each piece dry under a celing fan overnight. This morning, the battery looks pretty much dry and the rest of the phone does too. So my ?s are:
How long should I let the parts dry for?
Should I dry them a different way? (Blow Dryer, Lamp, etc.)
Will my phone work overall the way it did when I put it back together?
Should I take it to the U.S. Cellular Place? (That's where I got it.)

I would appreciate all advice, I'm only 13 and this is my first phone. I just got it in Feburary, and I would feel bad for my parents if they had to pay for a lot of damage/a new phone. Also, I have no clue about insurance stuff, cause like I said, I'm only 13.
