My LG DvD-RW Reads all dvds but doesn't read any CD !?!? how could this...

...happen , anyidea ? this is really weird
i know that cdroms read only CDs and don't read dvds

but now my dvdrom reads only dvds and doesn't read cds !?!?

its and LG dvd-rw and its about 2 years old ,, could it be dusty that it doesn't read cds right ?

any other pointers would be great, cuz i am so confused

its not a CD/DVD COMBO

its DVD-RW , so it reads and writes to dvds, therefor it no doubt should as well read and write to cds
