My LG Rumor phone just keeps flashing lights on and off and will not turn on?

mine did the same thing. its fucked. throw it out, lg= crap

my lg rumor was flashing a light every 10 seconds and it wouldn't turn on. i plugged it in and then took the battery out and replaced it carefully. it worked... maybe something was misaligned...?
