Fritos. Is that normal? She's about to burn a hole in the doggy bed at the rate she's going! Do little dogs have big, ole nasty smells? Or did I just get really lucky?

other than the humor, she might have some gastrointestinal problems, not enough exercise or you may need to change her diet.
btw, you're really lucky! lol
 
I don't know but I LOVE this question! My beagle terrier is 14 lbs and I've only heard him fart once in a year. Maybe it's the food you are feeding him....I can't stop laughing from the way you put this question!!!!
 
Discuss his diet with your vet. It could be he's allergic to corn or something like that. They do sell dog foods at Petco and Petsmart without corn.
 
Change his food. Get him a good quality dry food and don't feed him a lot of wet food or people food and especially do not give him dairy products. More than likely all the farts are caused by his diet. Good luck. Pugs are so darned cute but it does sound like yours may be a bit overweight.
 
I don't have a pug but that question just made it for me. I can't stop laughing. Hilarious! I have a mini schnauzer that when she sleeps she will fart. One time she was asleep on the divan beside me and she farted, she woke up like she had been shot, jumped off the divan, landed in the middle of the floor and ran around in a big circle before she realized there wasn't anything after her. I still laugh about that. She is the only dog I have ever met that is scared of her own farts. Pugs are unique and precious. My daughter has two and double the farts. Seriously, I would not feed her human food and get a better grade of food. A holistic brand is good.

Anyway, its probably what your feeding her thats causing the smelly farting. Maybe you should change the brand of dog food she eats to something better quality encase she isnt getting that.

These are great dog food choices. Most of these dog foods are not found at Petco or Petsmart, so your going to have to go to another pet store to find these. Although Blue Buffalo is sold at i think Petsmart, and that is pretty good dog food.
