my memory card which is of 2GB in NOKIA cell phone is not opening when i cliked?

my memory card which is of 2 GB in NOKIA CELL PHONE is not opening whenever i am cliking and also when i tried to format from the computer by using USB , it is not formatting , so please tell me how to format the data from memory card and give me any software which can format the data of memory card
