I just got this little dog yesterday (half lab half german shepherd)...hes 9 weeks. He came from this lady who didn't fix her dog and needed homes for the pups (not a breeder). Anyway I keep him in an enclosed area so he doesn't have full run of the house. The minute I step away from him even if its just a meter away and he cant reach me he'll whine and even bark at me. I've been putting in earplugs and doing my best to ignore him. Will this eventually stop? Should I be ignoring him? I just feel like hes demanding attention and I don't want him to get used to me giving in...at the same time I feel bad because hes so new and scared. What should I do?
