I took my Altima to get an oil change and the gentleman told me I would need to my Axle Boots replaced in the near future to avoid more possible problems. Does anyone have any suggestions or how much it may cost me to replace these axle boots. Thanks for any help you can give me.

they sell boots that can be put on without having to take the whole front end apart, they just clap in and screw together, that would be your cheapest bet .

If the axels are still good the boots are fairly cheap it is the labor cost that most places will charge that will eat you up also if you wait too long then the axels will need to be changed the boots are only about $35 to $45 dollars but labor rates can vary from state to state for example here in Louisiana labor would be about $250.00 plus parts

the boots only cost around 20 bucks or more the labor is whats expensive it usually runs around 50-75 bucks a boot to have them installed,if you just got one bad your looking at about probably 80 bucks or more for the complete job,if they do both of them on the same axle which is the best route to go its usually cheaper to get both of them done,i do those for about 125 bucks for both boots labor and parts, good luck.
