My Nokia 6230b is asking for a restriction code?

My boyfriend gave me his old Nokia 6230b. I put my sim card in the phone and turned it on. Now it won't let me do anything and keeps asking for a restriction code. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
My IMEI: 355032/00/087030/7

hi restriction codes is nothing but the codes which is used to remove the lock in your phone which is locked with a particular provider .you can get the codes from here superunlockcodes here they ask the following details they are model of the mobile , country from where you
brought the mobile ,provider to which the mobile is locked then the imei number of the mobile .finally they will send you the codes to unlock the mobile .
