netcard is up 2 100 mbit, why? my isp promises me 100 mbit, although I know it's not true, other wise when I use my laptop I can get up 2 70-80 mbit. what could be wrong and how can I fix it?
but why do I get 70-80 mbit on my laptop and 1 mbit on my pc?

Your processor speed or netcard has nothing to do with your download speed. This is governed by the bandwidth allocated to your connection, the number of connections on your particular upstream switch and your distance from the exchange. Basically you are on a party line with about fifty other subscribers ..
