My period is late due to stress...?

I'm wondering what usually happens when your period is late due to do stress. Does it usually skip an entire month? Or should just be a couple of weeks late? Will my entire cycle change?

I lost my job last month. That is what has caused the extreme stress. I have another one, but it doesn't pay as much. So I'm still stressed about finances.
