My pick-up bed/box is slightly out of alignment, how do I align it?

I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado. I just purchased it, and the box is slightly off. I have looked at random pick-ups, and I noticed this is, somewhat common. Even in brand new ones still on the lot. I asked a body repair man, how much it would be to fix it and he said it wasn't necessary and that is how it probably left the factory.
I am sorry, but I can't handle it. I want to align it. Does anyone know how? It is off about 1/4 to 1/2 inch on the driver's side.
 
there are 4 bolts that hold the bed on, loosen these, have someone lean on the bed the right direction and re tighten the bolts. if this doesn't help then look deeper into it.
