He is 7 months now, i thought he would grow out of it, but i guess not! Its like he wants something but he doesn't have to go outside he has toys he has everything. He totally freaks out if we leave him alone. We had to recently purchase a kennel because he started to chew on furniture. When we put him in there he is fine till we leave, you can hear him all the way outside whimpering so loud. Basically it has come to if your not right next to him he wines, but if he goes on his own by himself he's fine but if we are to leave him its the end of the world?? HELP ME

He is a big dog and needs space where he is free to roam. You cannot keep him cooped up inside all the time, that is cruel. Pits and Shepherds are incredibly intelligent dogs and need a big yard to put their investigative instincts to good use. If you don't have a big yard, you probably should have gotten a small breed instead. Due to the size and breed, your dog needs to be walked for at least an hour each day to help rid some of his loose energy.

He sounds like he has separation anxiety. You need to take the time to exercise him before leaving him alone.

Toys are not sufficient enough if he doesn't get enough exercise.

sounds like separation anxiety, and also maybe his cage is to small.. depending on the size of the dog the cage should be big enough that he can stand in the cage and move around
