My psoriasis is localized, any issues?

I've had psoriasis just behind (the left ) calf for about 2 years now. Not really anywhere else. I'm just curious what I can do to minimize this area and if I am at any risk for future further break outs. I use Renew (lotion) on it from time to time, but otherwise don't really do anything about it. Any additional risks or possibility of further spreading?
