Most often it's above 100, and that's resting. If I'm really calm, it might be 90. When I exercise it gets up to 180. I mentioned this to my doctor, and all he said was "that's not good". He said to get more exercise and see if that helped. I had been a bit overweight, but that was several months ago, and since then I've lost twenty pounds and am within normal BMI and way more in shape (I go to the gym every other day). But it's still so high! Sometimes I feel like I'm dying because it's racing so fast, and I'm not even doing anything. What does this mean, and should I see my doctor again? I'm a 19 year old female. Like, today while my sister and I were shopping we checked our BP's for the heck of it, and mine was 115/57, but my pulse was 110. I have low blood pressure, always have. I've had several nurses comment on my pluse too. When I was giving plasma, I was turned away because it was too high.
