My Sharp Stereo turns off randomly when we walk by it.?

My Sharp Stereo randomly turns of when we walk by it or come into or leave the room. It seems to somehow be motion sensitive because if you wave in front of it or tap it, it will turn back on.We have had it a year or two and have not used it to much. If you know how to fix this please comment.
