My Shitzu has four raised bumps close together under his neck, any thoughts?

I just recently noticed four raised bumps, close together in a semi circle pattern under his neck. They are about 1/16" in height. No rash, just raised bumps. It is strange that they are so close together. ANy thoughts as to what they might be???
 
They're probably just bug bites, but you could call your vet and ask if you should come in or not. I would keep an eye on it for a few weeks just to make sure it doesn't get any worse. Also, try applying pressure to it and see if it bothers him. I'm not sure if fleas bite, but you could check it out. I hope I've helped you out.
 
No, but your vet can tell you and that's where you should take your dog to get this checked out.
