i did the mistake of pulling out the battery while the usb cable was still connected, which made the phone make this repeating click sound

i pulled out the cable and inserted the battery again, but now it won't start up, and the display only flashes when connected to the adapter or switched on

is my cel dead ?

can i restore it ?
