My sony ericsson w595 won't charge?

I have had my sony ericsson w595 for almost a year now. When my battery died recently i tried to charge it but when i plugged it in it said "cannot charge battery. Please insert sony ericsson battery" when i had never changed the original battery or removed it. I then bought a new battery assuming that the old one was dead but it still says the same thing. Even with the little charge that was already hal charged i can't get signal with my phone at all!

Please help! I emailed sony ericsson but they never replied.
I have tried another charger and it still wont work.
 
I have the same phone, i've never had anything like this. It could be something wrong with the phone itself and not the battery, or its a dodgy charger. (Just guessing)
Try emailing again but if there is still no answer call them up and talk to someone who could advise you. They may ask you to send it in so they can try and repair it but it could charge you.
(Do you have insurance because you could replace it)
 
i have that phone, i have the same problem, my w595 wont charge either, i have tried all sorts of different sony ericsson charger, leave it charging overnight and wake up with a dead battery...
