My sub woofer is designed to run through the speaker wires but can also be powered. I am opting for the powered option since i need 7 channels. But on the back of the sub woofer I have two sockets, (the standard red and white stereo cables), and the back of the amplifier has only one output (called Sub Woofer Pre-out).
*The subwoofer socket and the amplifier socket i am trying to hook it up to are the same type of connector, My only problem is that there is one socket on the back of the receiver, and two on the sub.
Is there Any type of splitter or something that will combine red and white audio pins into 1 pin?
