my truck has a whining noise it makes when i take sharp turns?

the power steering resovoir is full, so im thinking its the pump getting ready to crap out on me. will it be an expensive fix?
 
power steeering fluid. have you checked it. power steering pumps run off of steering fluid.. and pumps are pricey. depending if u pull one from a used or wrecked truck or buy one new. all up to you. but u could start by checking your fluid and adding some or even changing it... the fluid
