about 2 weeks ago, i was at walmart, and saw some 29 cent fish, they were VERY skinny, and looked hungry, so i bought some. i kept them separate from my 50 gallon tank with my only other fish, our family gold fish that we have had for over a year now. I kept the other little gold fish in a tank for about a week, and when they looked healthy and strong enough to handle the heavy power filter i put them in with my gold fish,
about 2 days ago, i noticed on one of the gold fish, little white specks, but besides that, all was well. well this morning i woke up, and went to feed the gold fish, all the little fish were dead except one, and the two gold fish were in the corner fighting to stay at the bottem, the keep almost floating to the top. they have All the signs of tail rot.
and they appear to only have a few hours left, if that.
my little brother is 5, and has autism, he will not handle the loss of our fish well at all.
I would do anything to save the fish!
is there any way?
