My Virgin Mobile LG 2 Just broke...?

I was playing with my VIRGIN MOBILE LG 2 phone and i wrapped a piece a string on it, which i've done before that has never harmed the phone
but I can't turn it on, unless its plugged in and even then only the keyboard lights up?
