I want to get the DivX Player out of my computer. It has been causing issues in my system. I have deleted all Divx Files but the system WILL NOT let me rid the DivX Update files. So, now DivX just reinstalls itself and helps itself to my system to do whatever it wants. This is the message I get when I try to delete ANY of these files (there is a total 4 files): Cannot Delete DivXUpdate.exe: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. Arnak- It worked! Thank you! DivX wouldn't even work properly in the first place. Horrible program jammed with Spyware. What I did to remove it: Went to Control Panel, Selected Add or Remove Programs, Selected DivX and Chose Uninstall, Firefox alerted me that it tried using the web- I denied it access, The system continued on with the Uninstall. I double checked through a search to make sure it was gone and I emptied my Recycle Bin. Thanks for helping me!
