I was shaving yesterday and decided to finish off by doing a couple touch ups.. Lo and behold I messed up some how and managed to slice open my skin, making a wound about an inch long. Blood was running down my leg (( the cut is near my ankle )) around my foot and on to the shower floor. I soaked through two wads of toilet paper before I managed to get a band aid on it. With in a couple hours I had soaked through the band aid (( which is the kind with clear plastic on it so you can see the pad )) so I put on a new one (( this time one with beige adhesive so i couldn't see the actual pad )). When I took the band aid off today the pad was soaked with blood so I threw it away and cleaned up my cut and put on neosporin. Now, I have another one of the clear plastic band aids on it but with in just 10 minutes the blood had soaked through the pad! Over 24 hours later! What's going on? Do I need to seek medical attention? extra info. : i just finished my period the day before this happened. could that affect it?
