Name of Childs book I read when I was younger - Help!?

When I was little I read a picture book about a princess who was in her garden playing with her golden ball and it rolled away under a tree that grew really tasty fruit that she ate. When she got older she said she would only marry the man who could give her the best tasting thing. A poor man came across an old lady and gave her his last crust of bread, in return she showed him the tree with the tasty fruit. The poor man gave the fruit to the princess and she maried him.

Any Ideas?
