Navy SEAL in the UFC?

Would a retired SEAL be allowed to expose his secret MMA skills on a nationally broad casted championship like the UFC? Or could he pull some strings and vow to only use the basics he learned as a sailor?

I know a SEAL might loose, to say Anderson Silva for example, in the Octagon an vise verse on a SEAL's world but just please answer my random question.

Military personnel aren't trained in MMA. They are trained in CQC. There are some MMA like elements because they potentially have to deal with any range of combat.

Some units get extra training yes, but these skills wouldn't necessarily carry over to sport.

A retired SEAL wouldn't have to disclose his past publicly (though it could be hard to keep quiet for long) but he would have to train in MMA to fight within the rules governing the sport.

A similar question to this was posted a while back and the top answer included that military personnel would have a high drive to succeed in MMA competition. They would be disciplined in their training and well conditioned for fights.

So again, the training the military receives is in general fairly limited. Extended training often would mesh well with the rules of MMA.
