All I really want it for is for me to program a starting location (my car) and the ending location (tower site) and maybe show some topo maps so I know whether or not to expect cliffs or drops especially during the winter. This way if I do run into problems or fall again and get lost I can just plug in my starting lat/long and make it back to my car. Will this unit get the job done? Do you have any other recommendations?And no I do not have experience using these things. I am an REI member and I see that for $100 they can train you to use them. So I might do that if I can not figure it out.O yea and another thing I do not think some people understand this.&nbsp; The Answer is NOOOOO I can not use my cell phone!&nbsp; In case you didnt read all of my question I travel to a place where there is no cell signal (At least not with my company)&nbsp; So therefore I can not use my cell phone&#039;s GPS capabilities!</blockquote>
