Message: <blockquote data-quote="GlMan" data-source="post: 2689735" data-attributes="member: 209281"><p>Always helps to know the mileage but a few possibilities could be:  It isn't likely to be fuel related based on your statement that the engine does rev when pressing the gas.  That's an indication that fuel is getting to the engine but with the delay in acceleration you describe it seems to point to either an issue with the transmission or torque converter.  Neither is something that the average driver could repair at home unless its nothing more than a low fluid level in the transmission.  You have already checked that... right?</p></blockquote><p></p>
