Need help with going to the gym as a teenager?

Hi im a 14 year old teenager who weighs around 50 kg and is 5' 7" inches. Im looking at going to the gym for muscle for sport and purely looks as well however I'm quite lanky so im not sure how i should go about it. Should i try and bulk a little? and also how many times a weeks should i go as i want a defined body? thanks alot guys! :)
