Need help with my Casio CT-700 Keyboard?

I've been trying to use my Casio CT-700 as a controller with FL studio. the problem is that when I connect it, the plug ins control what the keyboard plays, the keyboard doesn'tcontrol what the computer plug-ins play. How do I fix this? Can someone tell me how to connect my casio correctly to FL Studio?
