Need help with my internet!?

My laptop connected 100% to a wireless network and also has a connection through an ethernet cable. However, when i log on to internet explorer/AIM it says there is a server problem and "this page cannot be displayed". "Cannot find DNS server, Windows pinged but did not recieve a reponse." .....It was working fine yesturday, and ive tryed reconfiguring, repairing and fixing the firewall. I dont know what else to do. Please help. I appreciate it so much.

This may require working with you to fix.

Try resetting your router.
Can you navigate to other pages in your house?
Can you use another online program? Online game perhaps?

when you "connect" you are connecting to the router, not the internet. If the router does not have internet, then you do not. Pull the power cord out, plug it back in. wait till all the lights come back on, see if you have internet. If not, go to your command prompt and do an ipconfig /release, then ipconfig /renew. most likey it will pick up an ip address and DNS. try bringing up the internet now.
If this all fails, see how your router is set up, does it broadcast enough ip address's? Do you have other people getting on your wireless also? if so, it is possible you could be having an IP conflict!
