Need Some Laptop Cooling Pad Suggestions?

I have a HP Pavilion 15.6" Notebook that overheats and shuts down very quickly. I am looking out for a cooling pad that will blow air AT my laptop, and not suck air away from under the laptop. Could you please suggest some cooling pads that will meet my requirements?

this might sound crazy but i was thinking of like hooking a 4" fan to a funnel that's 1' that directly feeds into the laptop... or you can try a cooling pad :)
