Need to email a bunch of music files to my laptop..how do I do it?

I just got a laptop and want to put approximately 2000 songs that I have on my iTunes from my desktop to my laptop. These are all songs that I loaded onto my desktop from my CD collection. I don't have an external hard drive, that would be the easiest way to do it, but is there a quicker way to email these to my laptop, like on a zip file?

How do you make a zip file and is it possible to mail these all at one time?
