I have an old vivitar zoom thyristor 285 flash. When I load four AA batteries into it it makes the charging sound but even after five or ten minutes the flash won't go off.
I've never used it before and I'm wondering if somethings wrong, I got it used from my aunt, and I'm using it with the pentax asahi k1000. please help!
