I want to buy a Smartphone that will help me in applying for jobs while I am on the move.
I want to use my Smartphone to go to the websites below :-
1) EMPLOYER SITES - for example, the career sections of FORTUNE 250 companies who are recruiting where I can search their jobs and then apply with all my details and upload my resume (I've noticed that a lot of big employers use 'Taleo' as their recruitment software...will I be able to effectively complete Taleo applications on a Smartphone?)
2) AGENCY WEBSITES - for example Indeed, Careerbuilder, Monster, Jobserve, Hotjobs etc
Am I correct that some of the big recruitment websites like Careerbuilder and Monster etc will have "apps" that you can download onto your Smartphone which makes it easier to apply for jobs?
But I suspect that most direct employer websites (e.g. the big banks, utility companies, retailers etc), won't have "apps" that will allow me to apply.
Which Smartphone would you recommend ?
(I'm definitely looking for a Smartphone and not a desktop as I'm constantly on the move !
And please forgive my ignorance on this topic...as i know nothing about Smartphones. Thanks)
