i do have a question. i am currently working at a BPO comp somewhere here in Visayas. We enjoy 15 days vacation leave and 15 days sick leave as incentives. It is written in our policy that only sick leave is convertible to cash. now my case is, I am now resigning and I already submitted my letter last jan 10. as per policy, we need to follow the 30-day notice so that would make my last day on feb 10. so many cases, i applied for a vacation leave but the comp wouldn't grant me this credit. now, i'm left with 11 days of vacation leaves and its near my last day and here comes our superior sending me a message "u still hav to report until i say so" would this mean she won't allow me to use my earned vacation leave until my last day? i guess this would be forfeited right? i also asked for a terminal leave in case but she is not replying to my email. if they are going to hold me for the rest of my days until my last work day, is there anything i can do for the remaining vacation leaves which are not convertible to cash? can i force them to pay me because they force me to work until my last day?
Hope to hear from anybody who has knowledge to this situation. Thank you in advance.
@dude: we are not allowed to have unions in our comp
