record, 6 from 40? Neftali also has 59 K in 58 IP

Jackson has 154 hits. He's no longer at a pace to get 200 hits, and he has 140 K's.

Who's the AL Rookie of the Year?

---------

Andrew Bailey was last year's AL ROY with only 26 saves, but a ridiculous ERA, a ridiculous BA against, and ended the season with 21 straight saves. He had 91 K's in 83 IP.
Feliz is also 3-3 with a huge choke job against the Yankees.

Feliz is likely to be the rookie of the year.

I think saves are a somewhat overrated stat, like wins, but they are not useless. Feliz has done a good job as the Rangers' closer. With Brennan Boesch's recent decline in productivity, the competition is a lot weaker in the AL, so Feliz will win unless something major and unforeseen happens.

I think a-jax will take it.

For some reason, he strikes out so much. They say with time his power will go up and his K's will go down, same thing as Curtis Granderson. But keep in mind, Jackson has been over .300 all year, leads AL in 3B, steals alot of bags, and plays great D.

I would have been Boesch if he wouldn't have done so poorly in the 2nd half. I also have to say it will go to Neftali.

Definitely Feliz. He has been the most consistent and best candidate for the ROY since the beginning of the season.
