I just bought a new house (under construction) and I'm just going through the details. The builder said that they are not using co-axial cables for the TV jack, and so that I need to pay $150 for another jack that can connect to the cable TV/internet. Do I need it? Can I have a cable internet provider do it for me later on?

Insist on the coax !!!!! Thats just crazy. Nows the time to do it. What are you going to watch tv on? Get all your rooms wired so if you want to watch tv or plug in a computer you can. I have never heard of that one. The cable service will take the easiest route which is to surface mount it, and thats crap on a new house.
