I have a job interview next week for a full-time position. Problem is, I need this job so badly, but I'm going on vacation in july for 1 month! I'm paranoid of telling the employer about that in the interview in fear that he won't hire me. How should I go about this? I was debating on not saying anything until 2 weeks in advance or so...but should I even be honest in the interview or is that unnecessary?

Definitely be honest you don't want to start off with a interview being untruthful just let him know you had a vacation planned prior to this interview,I mean you don't know if your going to get the job anyways so don't pressure yourself to much. If he asks you do have any questions ask questions of course then slide in and tell him about the vacation you have planned and keep a good attitude.

GOOD LUCK

You are certainly between a rock and a hard place.

I would tell your interviewer up front, and add that you made plans before you realized this opportunity would come up.
Is it too late for you cancel your vacation. Have you put money on it and would lose it if you cancel? How much? This is all info your interviewer may ask.

Good luck.

I was once in a similar situation. I had planned surgery, ( would be unable to work for a week0 had plans for a friend to visit me for a week, , and had a two week vacation planned.

At the interview, I told the interviewer about my plans and told him if this presents a problem, thank you for your time. and I understand.,
He said, yes , it would be a problem, but not a problem they couldn't work around. He appreciated me letting him know up front, and I did get the job.

Good luck.,
