My dad has the motorola razr new phone (the one with the big screen at the front) the interactive part has gone from all the menu's is there anyway of getting it back? he just wants it for the footie scores!

What service is it? I know one service provider, I think it may be T-Mobile, does not support the touch screen or external controls.
I don't think you can remove the touch controls, at least on my phone, which is from Sprint. Maybe try calling whatever service you have for help.
