There are no penalties for filing late if you don't owe money.  You cannot efile and must do it "old school".  Just as well, you need to learn how.   Doing efile without ever doing realfile is like using auto-land and never knowing how to really land. So hit the web and go get the forms from www.irs.gov.  You want 1040EZ, 1040A or 1040.  Follow the forms through.  Do the math.  The 1040EZ form is cake.  If you're doing weird stuff you'll need one of the bigger forms.  No big deal.  And you're cooler than your friends now.</blockquote>
