Just bought a Marlin 795 and took it apart to clean it for the first time.
I noticed that you can't get a one piece cleaning rod down the barrel from the breech end after field stripping.
I was trying to find info online regarding this and some say its ok to run the rod down from the muzzle end as long as your careful.
My question is, should i continue to clean this way or is there a safer more recommended method?
