1 year old male newfounland got sick three days ago. Vomiting, not eating, depressed. ? Took him to vet and he spent the night. Got tests which were normal. Got x-ray also normal. Got iv fluids, and antibiotics. They sent him home yesturday citing that they didnt know what was wrong and at home he didnt really move and wouldnt touch food. No more vomiting though and sipping water. We thought he might not make it I was beside myself. This morning he woke me up with kisses and has been eating small amounts of boiled chicken and rice. My question....what could this have been???

Additional Details The tests indicated no poisons, no venom (we live nv, although he is an inside baby.) Organs also functioning fine. He did have a fever and elevated white blood cell count. Vet thought maybe he have an infection or ate something that didn't agree w/him
