those who have a business? to run and have to close.

You go on about atheists celebrating Chritmas. It's a pain in the @ass for such as me.

The queastion is when will businesses be able to open on Dec 25th?
I'm losing money because of your enforced holiday!!
Every year a days money lost and for what!!

Because of your myths.

Not allowed to open and have to work from home.

Can you not feel the joy of knowing right now your employees and customers are celebrating Christmas.
You must have something special to sell that means your losing money today.
What is it that would make people wander out to conduct a business transaction with you?
Atheists are entitled to their bank holidays or public holidays whatever they believe.I admit I find it strange to figure out why people celebrate Christmas without Christ.Then again Atheism is a reaction to Christianity and not religion.The majority of Atheists are rebelling against Christianity within their culture and they jump on the scientific bandwagon to enforce their opinion.Atheists celebrating Christmas is like the unwanted ungrateful guest who you invite back to your home for a meal out of a sense of duty to kindness.They know the layout and the menu and whats going to be served up but they lack the true understanding of the celebration.Then again they can't be helped and they are entitled to believe what they think.Christianity hasn't sunk to the depths of spiritual fascism and fundamentalism yet although I admit there are misguided people out there who would kill non-believers if they had religious uncontrolled power.
If you did open for business are you going to pay those employees who by the sweat of their brow have made you so successful that right now your in anxiety at the imaginary invisible fortune you think your losing triple pay for working a holiday....Holy day....get it Nathan...or do you expect them to treat today as just a normal day?

The Government who passed a law giving people time off to celebrate Christmas?
A religion of over 25000 denominations who each profess to speak for Christ?
Who....Nathan....Who?
There is no law stopping you from opening up and instead of your underlings making you dollar you can do it yourself and pay yourself tripe time on top of that.
Merry Christmas Nathan....enjoy what you have...one day your going to have to leave it all behind and you'll be nothing...IMAGINE THAT.
 
Businesses can open if they wish. You just know that you would lose money if you did because everybody is home or in Church and wouldn't come to your store. That's the real reason you don't open because you wouldn't make any money. Spare a thought for your employees they need a rest too you know. Who wants to work when everyone else is having a rest?

Nurses and Police etc already have to work. Don't start making shop assistants work too.
 
"have to close"? Not in my country (USA). You are free to keep your business open.

It sounds like your real problem is your dictatorship of a country rather than Christmas itself.
