Subject: Feelin' Cruddy
This is gonna be a short note. In a nutshell, I've come down with a cold (not a big deal), and Mini-Bash is having problems breathing as well as with his ears/nose. Spent a good chunk of the day at the hospital as the kid was subjected to a series of tests. The results? He probably needs his adenoids removed and tubes in his ears.
Not a huge deal!
There are tons of little kids who unfortunately have worst probs. The doctors are trying to figure out a treatment that would side-step surgery. When I was a child, I had my adenoids taken out and tubes put in my ears. Fairly painless procedure, but the patient must be gassed. That is always somewhat scary, because there are rare cases in which people don't wake up.
Huh. This note isn't so short.
