Nimbuzz and Fring on Symbian @ Dubai?

Guys, i just wanted to know if Nimbuzz or Fring on Symbian works in Dubai for VOIP calls?
Gtalk to Gtalk(Through Nimbuzz or Fring) or Nimbuzz to Nimbuzz or Fring to Fring???

Give me a detailed answer, i just called my friend who is in dubai, and the call connected but we couldnt hear each other???

Ps. The call is being done over WIFI

Some one from UAE Kindly Answer :)
