lots of people say this but i think its false. That's like saying boxing is equal to kixkboxing when it is obvious that kickboxing has more tools in its arsenal. Also, when you see style vs style matches on the internet (like muay thai vs taekwondo) you see that the muay thai guy wins 99 percent of the time. I highly doubt that is just a coincidence. So are all martial arts equal or is that just a load of dookie?
 
Load of dookie.

Why would MMA fighters want to learn ALL styles if the style they already know was equal to a style they don't know....so it's like knowing a style you haven't even trained for.

One style might have the same concept, but different techniques.

Technique is the culprit here Greg.
 
What matters is the fighter. You don't summon the founder of whatever style to fight for you, you do it yourself. Sure, kickboxers have more tools but boxers train to master what they've got.
