My phone is a Nokia 5230 and every time it goes on to another network it tries to force me to set up email so as I have to pay high roaming charges for email push. My network is Orange which is now partnered with T-Mobile. That means that I am able to get signal from the T-Mobile network if no Orange signal is available.
This is really useful because T-Mobile covers my home, but Orange does not. But every time my phone switches to the T-Mobile network it backgrounds what ever I'm doing and prompts me with a load of setup requests and software downloads because it thinks it's roaming.
How can I turn the email feature off completely so as this never happens?
